ABOUT

My name is Samantha Werbrouck and I'm a Belgium based aspiring painter and designer.
Painting and drawings always has been my way to communicate my feelings and expressions to the world.

My art journey started at the age of 16, where I first got exposed to the artworld due to access of the internet. I started to discover many artists who exposed not only their art, but also their art process and knowledge which really fascinated me.
I mainly became fascinated by hyperrealism art. My first artworks was thus mostly inspired by this artform. 

In 2013, I started to taking painting lessons and learned to take a step further than just doing hyper realism but also  trying to create my own unique style. Portraits are still my main focus but I studied how I could portray a feeling/a world around it.
Over the years, I've also been experimenting with different kind of mediums  such as oils, watercolour & digital which became my 3 favourite mediums to work with.
In 2020, I finished my education in the art of painting with great distinction.
